Why Should We Remember Steve Jobs?

Steven Paul Jobs. Yes, you are thinking of the right person. Why should we remember him for the next hundreds of years? What he did? Should we remember him for the pity that his mother left him and he was adopted? No. There are other far more better reasons to give him a little space in our hearts.

Okay, what the world would be without him? This question helps us figure out why to remember him.

We weren't using os with GUI support this much early (or a possibility of still using CUI based os??). He found out that Xerox PARC (Paolo Alto Research Center) was doing some interesting research. He managed to visit it and knew about GUI. He drove his car as fast as he can to reach to Apple head quarters and told about it to his team. "This is the next thing.". Yes, someone can say that he stole an idea... But, it was a worth stealing. Windows stole this from Apple. And this is considered as one of the top stealing in computer history.

We couldn't have all those various font styles that we can find in our editors. Steve joined calligraphy classes when he was studying in college. And Windows stole this from Apple.

We couldn't have brilliant work at animated movies that we have. After Steve was fired from his own company, he started two companies. NeXT and Pixar. Pixar is world's top animation company who produced animated films based on the theme that animals and other non-living things have human kind of touch. Pixar has made Toy Story, A Bug's Life, Toy Story 2, Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Cars, Ratatouille, WALL•E, Up, Toy Story 3, Cars 2, Brave, and Monsters University etc.

Our music listening experience could never have been the same that we have. Steve launched iPod that could store hundreds or thousands of tracks that can fit in your jeans pocket.

The simplicity,the smartness,the attractiveness that you see in your smart phones could have never happened to be invented. Gorilla glass display is due to Steve Jobs. Smart phones turned from lots of keys to having just one button due to Steve Jobs. Drag and drop, zoom in, zoom out technology in your laptop's touchpad and in your phone is due to Steve Jobs. Android simply copied from Apple. And many other features are due to Steve Jobs.

iPad or other tablets are due to him.

MacBook Air is the world's slimmest laptop.

The amazing iTunes experience was come from Steve.

And so many other innovations that simply changed our lives that we are living today. He believed that art should meet technology.

Well, hello. This is Jigar Trivedi. This is my first blog experience so honestly I don't know what to write. So, I thought why not to write the things I like or admire? It will call a start.

I will start with myself. My name is Jigar N. Trivedi. I am an MCA student studying in 4th semester at  Charotar University of Science and Technology (Charusat).

I like to surf web, watch American TV series like '24', 'How I Met Your Mother', 'Friends', 'Prison Break', 'The Big Bang Theory' etc. and listen to songs more of English. I watch hindi movies rarely because most of the films are dumb and non-sense. I love the music composed by A.R.Rahman sir. The English Artists' I like are Bryan Adams, Adele, Scorpions, Linkin Park, Pink Floyd, Katy Perry etc.

The difference between Hollywood and Bollywood, as per my view, is that Bollywood has recently completed its 100 years and it is newer than Hollywood. So, the films we are making nowadays have similarly been made in Hollywood already. Hollywood people are simpler than Indian people. They don't like as much 'masala' as we-the Indian people- like. It is not that we are not as smart as those people but we guys don't want to or are not tend to watch different genres' films. Though the time is changing and different types of films are getting released. But still it will take a long time.

The type of work you can see in '24' is not seen in our TV series. The technology they are using in that series is amazing. The scenes as well as the acting is mind blowing. The way Jack Baur (Kiefer Sutherland) is leading the whole series is admirable. The sense of humor that you can see in 'How I Met Your Mother', 'Friends', 'The Big Bang Theory' can not be seen in any of our comedy shows. The shows like 'Comedy Circus' use cheap words or content in the name of humor and surprisingly majority public in India like it! Shows like 'Comedy Night with Kapil' and 'Tarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashma' are good but still can not be compared with early mentioned shows.

In movies also the films like 'Django Unchained', 'Catch Me If You Can', 'Inception', 'Dumb and Dumber','Madagascar','Avatar','Forest Gump' are very good. The sense less films of Salman and films like 'Chennai Express', 'Krrish 3' earn more than the films like 'Barfi', 'Rockstar', 'Paa', 'Black', 'Guzarish', 'The Wednesday'...

Well, That's all for now. I also like photography and gyming. But I will talk about them later.
